CALGARY, AB -- Calgary Flames prospects Maxwell Reinhart and Michael Ferland are among the 41 players that have been invited to Hockey Canada's National Junior Team Sport Chek Selection Camp.

Reinhart, who was drafted by the Flames in the third round (64th overall) of the 2010 NHL Entry Draft, is leading the Kootenay Ice in scoring with 12 goals and 31 points in 23 games and has a plus-16 rating this year.

The West Vancouver, BC native was a standout at the 2011 Young Stars Tournament in Pentiction this summer. He picked up three points in three games played, centering the club's top line on all three occasions.

Ferland, drafted in the fifth round (133rd overall) of the 2010 NHL Entry Draft, is in the midst of what looks to be a career season. In 28 games this season, the left winger has recorded 17 goals and 42 points. He is second only to Mark Stone - another Hockey Canada invitee - in team scoring and is averaging 1.50 points-per-game.

His previous career highs in goals, assists and points came last season when he notched 23 goals, 33 assists and 56 points through 56 games.

Selection camp runs Dec. 10 through Dec. 14 in Calgary at the WinSport Canada Athletic & Ice Complex.
