It is with deepest sympathies we advise that the father of Flames President of Hockey Operations Brian Burke, William "Bill" James Burke, passed away peacefully, Friday, Jan. 20, 2017, in Vero Beach, Florida. Mr. Burke was 90 years of age.
Visiting hours for Bill will be held this Tuesday, January 24, from 4:00 - 7:00 PM, with a vigil at 6:15 PM at the Strunk Funeral Home in Vero Beach. The funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, January 25, at 11:15 AM at the Holy Cross Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, Bill's family requests donations be made to Habitat for Humanity.
