PITTSBURGH - It's been a rough week for James Neal.
On Saturday in Vancouver, the winger took a high-stick to the face, knocking out eight of his teeth and forcing him to miss Monday's practice to get some dental work done.
He was able to play in Tampa, remaining unscathed in that tilt, but on Thursday in Sunrise, he suffered a lower body injury that knocked him out of the game.
On Friday afternoon, head coach Bill Peters confirmed he will be out in the final game of the Flames' road trip, a stop at PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh.
"Nealer's going to get looked at by the doctors when we get home."

The Flames have a couple of choices for who will fill in for the veteran on Saturday morning.
Austin Czarnik, who signed a two-year deal with the club last summer, could slot back in after sitting out of the last nine games as a healthy scratch. In the 29 games he's suited up for this year, he's scored two goals and six points.
Calgary also has Curtis Lazar back in the mix after recalling the forward from the Stockton Heat on Friday afternoon.
The 24-year-old has played 46 games with the Heat this year and sits fourth in scoring with 16 goals and 36 points. He was Stockton's lone representative at the 2019 AHL All-Star Weekend earlier this year.
Peters also confirmed Mike Smith will get his second consecutive start. He's coming off a tremendous performance against the Florida Panthers, making 30 saves in the 3-2 shootout setback.
"He was real good," Peters said. "Made some big saves during the game. I thought he was real good in OT. He looked very confident and very calm in there."
The Flames close out their road trip on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. MT with Sportsnet West carrying the television broadcast.
