CALGARY, AB -- Calgary Flames 2012 first round pick Mark Jankowski has been added to Canada's National Junior Team summer development camp roster, running Aug. 4-10 in Brossard, QC and Lake Placid, NY.
The camp will be comprised of two practices in Brossard at the Montreal Canadiens practice facility, five practices at the Olympic Training Center in Lake Placid and three games (versus the USA, Sweden and Finland) in the same venue in Lake Placid.
The camp roster was selected by Ryan Jankowski, head scout of the men’s Program of Excellence for Hockey Canada, along with Hockey Canada senior director of hockey operations and national teams Scott Salmond and the newly-formed Program of Excellence management group including Sean Burke and Bruce Hamilton.
This is the first step in creating the 22-man roster that will represent Canada at the 2014 IIHF World Junior Championship in Malmö, Sweden.
Flames 2013 first round picks Sean Monahan and Emile Poirier will also be attending the summer development camp.
