CALGARY, AB -- TJ Brodie and Canada edged Slovenia in overtime on Monday after Steven Stamkos scored his second goal of the game at the 2:36 mark of the extra frame.

Brendon Dillon and Matt Duchene also scored for Canada. Jan Urbas scored twice for Slovenia and captain Tomaz Razingar potted his country's third goal of the game.

The win gives Canada 18 points in the tournament, pushing them to first in the Stockholm group. Switzerland, who have won all six of their games in the preliminary round, has one game left to claim first place in the group.

Brodie logged 10:53 of ice time and was a plus-one. In seven games, the 22 year-old defenceman has one assist, three shots on net and is a plus-one. He is averaging 11:09 of ice time.
