CALGARY, AB -- Reto Berra was sensational for Switzerland on Saturday morning, making 32 saves to push the Swiss to their fifth straight win at the 2013 IIHF World Championships.
It was the netminder's second game and second victory at the tournament. He suited up for Switzerland's game against the Czech Republic on Monday, backstopping his country to a 5-2 win.
After those victories, Berra's GAA is 1.50 and he holds a .958 save percentage.
Finland went with Joni Ortio in net on Saturday in their tilt against Austria and the netminder made 16 saves in the Finns 7-2 win. Ortio has a 1.98 GAA and a .897 save percentage in three games at the tournament.
The Finns next game comes on May 14 against Latvia.
Chris Butler and the USA faced France on Saturday morning, taking the game by a score of 4-2. Butler logged 14:25 of ice and was even in the win that gives the Americans a 4-0-1 record.
On Sunday, TJ Brodie and Canada will face Jiri Hudler and the Czech Republic, Berra and Switzerland play against Norway and Butler and the USA take on Germany.
