- Mason Raymond is among the NHL's top 15 in shots on net with 10. Zach Parise (MIN) leads the NHL with 19 through two games.

- Raymond is also among the NHL's top 10 in goals scored this season with three. Tomas Plekanec (MTL), Rick Nash (NYR), and Wayne Simmonds (PHI) top the list with four apiece.

- Joe Colborne is fourth among all skaters in the NHL with four assists. Johnny Boychuk (NYI), John Tavares (NYI), and Daniel Sedin (VAN) have each recorded four in two games.

- Captain Mark Giordano has strung together a three-game point streak, posting an assist in the Flames first three games of the year.

- Defenceman Kris Russell leads the league in blocked shots with 11.

- TJ Brodie leads all Flames blueliners with seven shots on net this year. The 24-year-old is coming off a very strong performance in St. Louis in which head coach Bob Hartley stated he was the team's best player against the Blues.

- The Flames went 1-2-0 against the Nashville Predators in the 2013-14 season.

- Mikael Backlund led the Flames in scoring against the Predators last year, registering three goals and five points three games. Russell trailed him with one goal and five points while Giordano rounded out the top three with one goal and four points.

- In the early goings of the 2014-15 campaign, Giordano is the Flames' Corsi leader. Behind The Net has the captain sitting at 15.35 through the first three games. His defensive partner, Brodie, trails him at 9.95.

- Giordano (23:17) and Brodie (23:01) lead the Flames in average ice time per game.
