- Mark Giordano leads all NHL defencemen in scoring with five goals and 18 points through 16 games. He is sixth in the NHL scoring race.

- On Saturday, Giordano collected three points in a 6-4 win over the Florida Panthers, becoming the first Flames defenceman with four straight multi-point games since Al MacInnis from Oct. 23 to Nov. 1, 1990.

- Giordano is currently riding a six-game point streak. He has 11 points in that span.

- TJ Brodie is third amongst all NHL defencemen in scoring with four goals and 10 points.

- Brodie is a plus-11 on the year, which leads all Flames skaters. Giordano is a plus-eight, which is third on the team.

- Johnny Gaudreau is a plus-nine through 15 games, which ranks second on the team.

- Gaudreau's 16 takeaways ranks fourth in the league, trailing Ryan O'Reilly (19), Tyler Bozak (18), and Leo Komarov (18).

- Just 15 games into the season, Lance Bouma has four goals. That's one shy of his career-high, which he set last year through 78 outings.

- Bouma leads the Flames in hits with 39. Curtis Glencross trails him with 37.

- In his last 10 NHL games (dating back to the 2013-14 season), Markus Granlund has seven points.

- Sean Monahan has points in his last five games. He's notched four goals and seven points in that time frame.

- Calgary sits fourth in the Western Conference with a 9-5-2 record and 20 points. Anaheim leads the West with 22 points on the year.

- The Flames lead the NHL in road wins with a 7-3-0 record away from the Scotiabank Saddledome.
