WINNIPEG, MB -- Blair Jones has been red hot for the Abbotsford Heat in November, racking up an incredible 14 points in 7 games and now leads the team in scoring with 18 points in 14 games.
The Heat have played three games on their seven-game road swing and Jones has amassed seven points in that span. He set a new career-high in Abbotsford's first top on the trip, rattling off five points (three goals, two assists) in a 7-3 win over the Texas Stars last Wednesday.
Trailing Jones in the Heat scoring race is rookie Corban Knight. He started the seven-game road swing off with a two-point performance against the Texas Stars but has been held off the scoresheet in the past two games.
Ben Street rounds out the top three in Heat scoring. The pivot, who spent a large chunk of October with the Flames, has played 12 games in an Abbotsford jersey this year and has posted eight goals and 15 points. Street has seven points in his last three games.
