Heat sign Brett Kulak to an amateur try-out

ABBOTSFORD, BC -- Abbotsford Heat general manager Jay Feaster announced today that defenceman Brett Kulak (KOO-lahk) signed an Amateur Try-Out (ATO).

Kulak led all Vancouver Giants (WHL) defenders with 12 goals, 32 assists and 44 points this season, finishing fourth in team scoring. Kulak has not missed a regular season game, playing all 72 games in his first two full seasons of WHL hockey.
