CALGARY, AB -- Calgary Flames prospect Tim Harrison and the Colgate Raiders are set to face off with Union for the ECAC Championship on Saturday evening in Lake Placid.
The Raiders picked up a 3-2 win over Quinnipiac in double overtime in Friday's semi-final, coming back from a 2-0 deficit.
Connor Jones and Sam Anas gave Quinnipiac a two-goal cushion in the second period but Andrew Black was able to get Colgate back within one before the second stanza came to a close.
Kyle Baun scored at the 19:04 mark of the third period to force overtime and Tyson Spink played the hero in the second overtime frame, scoring just 58 seconds in.
Harrison was the Flames sixth round pick in the 2013 NHL Draft in New Jersey. The Colgate freshman has five assists to his name through 33 games this season.
Prior to starting his collegiate career, he played two seasons at the Dexter School in the New England Preparatory School Athletic Council, tallying 69 points (44 goals and 35 assists) in 46 games. Dexter went 21-2-4 in his final season.
