NEW YORK - What's the first thing the Flames will do after they leave the arena following their Sunday matinee against the Rangers?
They'll head straight back to the hotel and, like hundreds of millions of others, they'll huddle around a TV to watch the Super Bowl.

Tom Brady and the love 'em or hate 'em New England Patriots will look to add another title to their resume when they take on Matty Ice and the Atlanta Falcons.
For Johnny Gaudreau, the game has a bit more meaning for him as he'll be cheering on his pal Julian Edelman, a New England wide receiver who's one of Brady's favourite targets.
The two met this past off-season working out at the same gym in Boston and the duo have a lot in common, both smaller athletes who dominate their respective sports despite their lack of size.
Edelman is just 5-foot-10, making him a rarity in the NFL where many receivers are well north of six feet.

"I know him well from this summer in Boston," said Gaudreau. "I texted him and wished him good luck in the Super Bowl game. It was great meeting him this summer and hanging out with him a bit so I wish him the best."
So will Gaudreau be wearing a Patriots jersey Sunday?
"No, I'm a Eagles fan," said Gaudreau, who's from Salem, New Jersey. "But going to college at Boston College you grow to like the Patriots a little because of how passionate the fans are."
