CALGARY, AB -- For a second straight year, Calgary Flames prospect Johnny Gaudreau has been named one of the ten Hobey Baker Award finalists.
The Boston College junior leads the nation in scoring with 32 goals and 69 points in 37 outings, averaging 1.86 points-per-game.
He authored a 31-game point streak this season, tying Paul Kariya's Hockey East record which he set in 1992. During that streak, scored 29 goals and 61 points. Gaudreau was held without a point in just two games this year.
The Flames fourth round pick in 2011 was recently named the Hockey East Writers and Broadcasters Association Player of the Year and was named to the HEWBA First All-Star Team.
The Hobey Hat Trick will be announced on April 2, with the winner announced on April 11 at the Frozen Four in Philadelphia.
