On Tuesday, the New England Hockey Writers Association honoured Calgary Flames prospect Johnny Gaudreau with the Leonard Fowle Award (Most Valuable Player) and the Herb Gallagher Award (Best Forward).

The Eagles went 22-12-4 this season thanks in large part to Gaudreau's contributions and he helped lead the team to an NCAA Tournament berth this spring.
Gaudreau is 2013 Top 10 Hobey Baker Finalist, was named Hockey East's Athletic Republic Player of the Year and was a unanimous Hockey East First-Team All Star selection.
The 19 year-old was also named a New England Men's Division I All-Star on Tuesday.
