Calgary Flames prospects Johnny Gaudreau and Bill Arnold will be key components for Boston College as the Eagles host Vermont later this week in the Hockey East quarter-finals.
Both forwards are in the top five in team scoring with Gaudreau leading the club with 18 goals and 46 points through 31 games this season. Arnold has 16 goals and 33 points in 34 outings, good for fourth on the squad.
Game One will take place at Conte Forum on Friday at 5:00 PM MT. Game Two takes place the following night at 5:00 PM MT. Game Three, if necessary, is scheduled for Sunday at the same time as the previous two tilts.
Boston College went 2-0-1 against Vermont in the 2012-13 season and they ended the campaign by picking up three points in two games against the Catamounts. The Eagles have faced Vermont four times in the playoffs, going 4-0. The two clubs met in the 2012 semi-final with Boston College winning 3-0.
Gaudreau and Arnold both put up impressive numbers against Vermont this past weekend. Gaudreau was an offensive juggernaut on Saturday, scoring two goals and four assists in a career-high six-point night while Arnold scored twice and had two assists in the 7-2 Boston College victory. Both also recorded a point in Friday's 4-4 tie.
