The Flames are proud to announce Dallas Kitt as the recipient of the J.R. "Bud" McCaig Award. Dallas's co-winner of the J.R. "Bud" McCaig Award is Flames forward Trevor Lewis. Both Dallas and Trevor are excellent recipients of an award representing Mr. McCaig who, himself, constantly displayed respect, courtesy and compassion for all individuals both in professional and everyday life

Dallas Kitt has been employed with Calgary Sports & Entertainment since 2001. Although that time has been primarily focused in the Game Presentation & Events Departments, where she began as a game night Stage Manager, she has touched every corner of the organization with her work, and joined CSEC full-time in 2015 as our Manager of Events.
In 2018 Dallas added Director of Festival & Events for the 2019 Grey Cup to her current duties and led a team through the planning and execution of Canada's Biggest Party. The level of organization required to execute this high profile and large-scale event was certainly a feat of both personal and professional strength that earned her well-deserved accolades from all over the country.
The passion Dallas has for the meticulous planning and flawless execution of events is widely recognized in Calgary, and she is an active member of the International Live Events Association. Dallas is mother to 5-year-old son (Grayson), and expertly balances her responsibilities with CSEC while being a wonderful mom. In her "free time" she has been a very active volunteer with Special Olympics Canada since 2010.
