The Calgary Flames announced today that they have signed defenceman Michael Stone to a one-year, two-way contract.

Stone, a native of Winnipeg, Manitoba is an NHL veteran of 472 games, with 31 goals and 93 assists for 124 points split between the Arizona Coyotes and Calgary Flames. Stone suited up in 33 games for the Flames last season, recording two goals and five assists. The Flames originally acquired Stone during the 2016-17 season at the trade deadline.
