The Calgary Flames announced today the signing of their 2020 first round pick, centre Connor Zary, to an entry-level contract.

Zary is in his fourth WHL season with the Kamloops Blazers, where he netted 38 goals and added 48 assists for 86 points along with 51 penalty minutes in 57 games before being drafted in the first round (24th overall) in the 2020 NHL Draft by Calgary. Zary is currently playing on Team Canada at the 2021 IIHF World Junior Championship and has one assist in three games.
