Two-time Cup winner inks a long-term deal in Calgary

The Calgary Flames announce today that they have signed free agent forward Blake Coleman. TERM: Six years AAV: $4,900,000
Coleman, a native of Plano, Texas, was a back-to-back Stanley Cup champion with the Tampa Bay Lightning adding eight goals and 16 assists for 24 points and 53 penalty minutes in 53 playoff games over the past two post seasons. He has played 301 career games netting 71 goals and adding 55 assists for 126 points along with 241 penalty minutes after three and a half seasons in New Jersey and a year and a half with Tampa. The 5'11, 207lbs forward was originally drafted in the 3rd round (75th overall) by New Jersey in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft.
