Flames recall Freddie Hamilton from Stockton

CALGARY, AB -- The Calgary Flames announced today that they have recalled forward Freddie Hamilton on an emergency basis from their American Hockey League affiliate, the Stockton Heat.

Hamilton is playing in his first season for Calgary’s AHL affiliate after being acquired in a trade with Colorado in October 2015. The 24-year-old has skated in 53 games for Stockton this year where he sits third on the club in points (35), goals (16) and assists (19). Freddie made his NHL debut in 2013-14 and scored his first goal in 2014-15 for the Avalanche.
