Flames prospect scores four goals

Calgary Flames prospect Daniel Ryder has proved that lightning can strike twice.

Ryder, who recently attended the Flames training camp, led with four goals as the Peterborough Petes downed the Ottawa 67's 5-1 in Ontario Hockey League action Friday.

He followed up on his success from the Petes' last face-off with Ottawa Thursday, when he registered six points.

Elsewhere in OHL action on Friday, it was: Barrie 5, Brampton 4 (SO); Plymouth 3, Guelph 2 (SO); Belleville 7, Kingston 6 (SO); Kitchener 4, Erie 2; London 6, Owen Sound 5 (SO); Sudbury 6, Toronto 0; and Sarnia 4, Saginaw 3 (SO).

At Ottawa, Steve Downie added another for Peterborough (3-1-0-0).
