Flames pick up Keith Seabrook

Calgary Flames General Manager Darryl Sutter announced today that the Flames have acquired former Calgary Hitmen Keith Seabrook from the Washington Capitals in exchange for future considerations.

Seabrook, a native of Delta, BC, spent the past two seasons as a member of the Calgary Hitmen. During his two year stint with the Hitmen, Seabrook accumulated 72 points in 123 regular season games and another 20 points in 32 playoff games.

Seabrook was originally drafted by the Washington Capitals in the 2nd round (52nd overall) in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft, and is the brother the Chicago Blackhawks Brent Seabrook.
