May 13 Flames’ Dion Phaneuf and Matthew Lombardi win gold as part of Team Canada at the 2007 IIHF Men’s World Championship
May 13 Flames prospect Dan Ryder of the Plymouth Whalers wins the 2007 OHL Championship and qualify for the Memorial Cup
May 14 Flames prospects Matt Keetley (named playoff MVP) and Gord Baldwin of the Medicine Hat Tigers win the 2007 WHL Championship and qualify for the Memorial Cup
May 22 Sign Draft Pick Gord Baldwin (2005, D from Medicine Hat - WHL); Sign Brad Cole (2005, D from Saskatoon - WHL); Sign Draft Pick Matt Keetley (2005, G from Medicine Hat - WHL); Sign Draft Pick Matt Pelech (2005, D from Belleville - OHL); Sign Draft Pick Brett Sutter (2005, C from Red Deer - WHL).
