The visiting Anaheim Ducks skated to a 4-0 victory Wednesday night at the Scotiabank Saddledome.
Despite outshooting the Ducks 29-16, the Flames weren't able to beat John Gibson, who picked up the shutout.

Andrew Cogliano, Ondrej Kase, Hampus Lindholm and Francois Beauchemin scored for Anaheim.
Mike Smith took the loss between the pipes.
Matt Stajan was named the game's third star and played in his 1,000th NHL contest.
With Ducks defenceman Brandon Montour in the box for cross-checking, Cogliano forced a turnover in the Flames zone and skated across the crease before snapping it home at the 12:51 mark of the opening frame to put Anaheim up 1-0.
Flames blueliner Dougie Hamilton - who came into the night leading all NHL defencemen in scoring with 16 goals - had a great chance to get Calgary on the board first when he wired a shot off the post earlier in the man-advantage.
Kase put the Ducks up by a pair around the midway point of the second, scoring on a no-look, spinning backhand that went five-hole on Smith.
The Ducks - despite being outshot 23-11 after 40 minutes of play - added one more late in the second following a Calgary turnover in the neutral zone, when Lindholm took a pass five feet inside the blueline at a full skate and hammered a low slapshot that found net.
Beauchemin finished off the scoring with less than three minutes to play in the game.
