by Staff Writer / Calgary Flames

CALGARY, AB -- The Calgary Flames along with the Calgary Stampede are proud to host their annual Western Night this Friday, March 15th when the team faces off against the Nashville Predators at the Scotiabank Saddledome.

The game will feature 2010 Canadian Country Music Award Male Artist of the Year & Juno nominated Gord Bamford performing the national anthems.

Friday night’s contest will feature a western theme throughout the game including appearances from the 2013 Calgary Stampede Royalty, the Guns of the Golden West as a forty-piece ensemble known as the Calgary Stampede Band of Outriders performing outside the West entrance prior to the game. Fans are encouraged to dress in western attire for the game.

This year’s annual Flames Western Night will celebrate Calgary’s Western Heritage and prelude to this summer’s Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth – the Calgary Stampede.
