Flames assign Wilson to Abbotsford

CALGARY, AB -- The Calgary Flames announced today that defenceman Clay Wilson has been assigned to the Abbotsford Heat of the American Hockey League.

Wilson, a native of Sturgeon Lake, Minnesota, has 14 goals and 25 assists for 39 points in 60 games with the Heat this season. He is third on the team in points and leads all blue liners in goals. This was his second recall to Calgary this year and has played a total of five games with the Flames.
