The Calgary Flames announced today that they have assigned three players to their American Hockey League affiliate after clearing waivers: Hunter Shinkaruk (LW), Emile Poirier (RW) and Tyler Wotherspoon (D).
Calgary has 28 players remaining at training camp (3x goalies, 8x defencemen, 17x forwards). These numbers don't include injured players Dan Pribyl and Marek Hrivik.
