Flames assign Paul Byron to Abbotsford

CALGARY, AB -- The Calgary Flames announced today that they have assigned forward Paul Byron to the Abbotsford Heat (AHL).

Byron, a native of Ottawa, Ontario recorded 2 goals in 6 games with the Flames this season. He has three goals and one assist along with 26 penalty minutes in nine games with the Abbotsford Heat. Last season he played eight NHL games with the Buffalo Sabres netting his first career goal and added one assist and two penalty minutes.
