Flames assign Michael Ferland to Adirondack

CALGARY, AB -- The Calgary Flames announced today that they have assigned forward Michael Ferland to the Adirondack Flames of the American Hockey League.

Ferland, a 22-year-old native of Brandon, Manitoba has played 10 games with Calgary so far this season and recorded his first NHL point and two PIMs.

The Flames also announced that forward Joe Colborne has been activated from Injured Reserve.
