The Flames announce today they have acquired forward Tyler Toffoli from the Montreal Canadiens in exchange for Calgary's 2022 first round pick (top-10 protected), Calgary's 2023 fifth round pick, forward Tyler Pitlick and unsigned drafted player Emil Heineman.

Toffoli, a native of Scarborough, Ontario has notched nine goals and 17 assists for 26 points in 37 games this season with the Montreal Canadiens. A five-time 20-goal scorer, Toffoli has 370 points (182G, 188A) in 614 career NHL games split between Los Angeles, Vancouver, and Montreal. The 29-year-old has 76 games of playoff experience and has made two Stanley Cup Finals appearances (2014, 2021), winning the Cup with the Los Angeles Kings in 2014. Toffoli has also represented his country on the international stage, winning gold with Team Canada at the 2015 World Championships.
