Notes ahead of tonight's Flames vs. Wild match-up at the Scotiabank Saddledome

INTO THE WILD

Tonight's game is the final meeting between the Calgary Flames and the Minnesota Wild in the regular season. The Flames are 2-0-0 against the Central Division's top team, defeating 1-0 on Nov. 15 and 3-2 (SO) on Dec. 2. Johnny Gaudreau, Mikael Backlund and Kris Versteeg have scored in regulation against the Wild while Sean Monahan scored the shootout game-winner.

In their last 10 games against the Wild at the Scotiabank Saddledome, the Flames are 5-3-2. In their last 10 contests vs. Minnesota, Calgary has a 4-5-1 record and have won three in a row against the Wild.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS VS. MINNESOTA

Lance Bouma scored his first NHL goal against the Wild on Jan. 7, 2012.

TJ Brodie netted his first NHL goal against Minnesota on Nov. 27, 2011.

As a member of the Dallas Stars, Jyrki Jokipakka recorded his first NHL point against the Wild on Nov. 28, 2014.

AFTER THE BREAK

Following the NHL All-Star break, the Flames have 30 games on the docket, which includes 16 games against Western Conference foes and 10 skates against Pacific Division rivals. The remainder of the Flames schedule is split evenly between road and home games.

Dougie Hamilton has at least one assist in 12 of his last 18 games and he has 15 points over that span. Hamilton leads the Flames in assists with 25, game-winning goals with four, and shots on goal with 144. The Toronto, ON native is one of just three NHL blueliners with four game winning goals (along with Brent Burns and Shea Weber) and he ranks seventh among NHL blueliners in points (32) and eighth for assists (25).
