ROCKING THE RETROS

The Calgary Flames will be wearing their retro jerseys for tonight's Scotiabank Home Opener. This evening's contest marks the first of 12 home games that the Flames will wear their retro threads. A full jersey schedule can be found HERE.

LIKE FATHER, LIKE SON

Matthew Tkachuk will play his first regular seaosn NHL game at the Scotiabank Saddledome tonight. Over 24 years ago, his father, Keith, played his first home NHL game and the opponent was also the Edmonton Oilers. Tkachuk made his NHL debut on Wednesday in Edmonton, logging 12:30 of ice time.

TJ Brodie made his NHL debut on Oct. 7, 2010 against the Oilers.
