Notes ahead of tonight's Flames vs. Flyers match-up at the Scotiabank Saddledome

FACING THE FLYERS

Tonight's game is the final match-up between the Flames and Philadelphia Flyers this season. The Flyers took the opening contest in Philadelphia, defeating the flames 5-3. TJ Brodie, Matthew Tkachuk and Alex Chiasson scored while Chad Johnson made 38 saves in the setback.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS VS. PHILLY

Johnny Gaudreau has at least one point in all four of his career games against the Flyers and is averaging 1.5 points-per-game against Phildelphia in his career.

Garnet Hathaway made his NHL debut against Philadelphia on Feb. 29, 2016.

Johnson also played his first career NHL game against the Flyers on Dec 30, 2009, while he was a member of the New York Rangers.

POWER PLAY ROLLING

Despite Monday's 5-0 loss to Arizona, Calgary's power play has been very impressive of late - particularly at the Scotiabank Saddledome. The club has scored 12 goals on the power play in their past 10 skates at home and is running at a 32.4% clip (12 goals on 37 opportunities).

FACING THE EAST

Tonight's game kicks off a run in which the Flames will face Eastern Conference opponents in 10 of their next 16 games.

ALMOST AMONGST ELITE COMPANY

Sean Monahan is one goal shy of hitting 100 in his young career. According to the Elias Sports Bureau, Monahan (currently 22 years and 124 days old) will become the sixth-youngest active NHLer to 100 goals with his next score, joining Steven Stamkos (100 goals in 20 years, 316 days), Sidney Crosby (21y, 72d), Jaromir Jagr (21y, 261d), Alex Ovechkin (22y, 25d), and Patrick Kane (22y, 115d).

Sean Monahan needs 1 goal for 100.

Michael Frolik needs 2 points for 300.

Alex Chiasson needs 3 points for 100.
