FACING THE FLYERS
Tonight's game is the first of a two-game season set between the Calgary Flames and Philadelphia Flyers. Last year, the Flames went 1-1-0 against the Flyers, picking up their win on Nov. 5, 2015 at the Scotiabank Saddledome. The Flames last win in Philadelphia came on Mar. 3, 2015 when they edged the Flyers 3-2 in overtime. The Flames are 5-3-2 in their last 10 trips to Philadelphia and they have won five of their last eight games at the Wells Fargo Center. Five of their last seven skates in Philadelphia have been determined by one goal and four of those games have required overtime.

TAKING THE LEAD
Friday's 2-1 win over the Boston Bruins was the eighth time this season that the Flames have held a lead after 40:00 of play. In those eight skates, they have a 7-0-1 record.
Sam Bennett registered a goal and an assist against the Bruins on Friday, giving him his fourth multi-point game this season. He leads all Flames skaters in multi-point games this year.
Tonight's game is the fifth in a six-game trek across the northeastern United States. The Flames are 3-1-0 on the trip and now have a 5-4-0 record vs. the Eastern Conference. They wrap up the trip tommorrow in New York when they take on the Islanders at 5:00 PM MT.
