NEW YORK, NY -- For the second time during the Calgary Flames' six-game road trip, Brian Elliott will get the start in the second game of a back-to-back set.

Flames head coach Glen Gulutzan has confirmed Elliott will be in net tonight when the Flames take on the New York Islanders at Barclays Center at 5:00 PM MT (SNW, FAN960).

The netminder's last start came last Monday in Buffalo. The 31-year-old made 28 saves on 32 shots in the 4-2 setback to the Sabres.

In 12 games this season, Elliott is 3-9-0 with a 3.43 GAA and a .882 save percentage.

Gulutzan also confirmed centre Mark Jankowski will make his NHL debut this evening but did not tip his hand at which forward will come out of the lineup.

Last night in Philadelphia, forwards Jankowski and Hunter Shinkaruk and defenceman Jyrki Jokipakka sat as healthy scratches in the 5-3 setback to the Flyers.
