CALGARY, AB -- Calgary Flames forward David Moss has his eye on the long ball at the Calgary Vipers Home Run Derby before the game on Sunday, August 21st at Foothills Stadium.
Moss will be taking on former Major League player and Yuma Scorpions Player Manager Jose Canseco, country artist Gord Bamford, Sportsnet announcer and NHL alumni Charlie Simmer and Stamps alumni Randy Chevrier. Each contestant has five attempts to hit the softball pitch. The furthest distance wins.

The homerun derby, starting at 12:30 p.m., will be followed by the Vipers game versus the Yuma Scorpions at 1:35 p.m.
