Calgary Flames forward Rene Bourque and Flames prospect Ryan Wilson led their respective teams as the low gross and low net winners at the Calgary Flames Celebrity Charity Golf Classic held Thursday at Heritage Pointe Golf Club.
Over 300 golfers participated in the 28th annual tournament raising in excess of $300,000 for the Flames Foundation for Life. Since its inception 28 years ago, the tournament has raised $3,410,000 million for local charities.LOW GROSS WINNER

Another big winner at this year's Classic was Tim Mooney, who recorded a hole-in-one on the 163 yard Desert #3 hole at Heritage Pointe.
Mooney, a 10 handicap, wins $50,000 toward a MasterCraft ski & wakeboard boat compliments of tournament sponsor, Martin Motor Sports. Among Mooney's golfing partners was Flames Pro Scout Ron Sutter.
This year, funds raised will go towards the Flames Foundation for Life, a foundation that builds on the philosophy of the original Flames Foundation and is dedicated to the following four pillars: Rotary/Flames House, Rotary/Flames Park at Ronald McDonald House, Rotary/Flames for Medical Advancement and Amateur Sports & Grassroots Initiatives.
