Calgary Flames select Morgan Klimchuk with 28th overall pick

NEWARK, NJ -- With the 28th overall pick at the 2013 NHL Draft, the Calgary Flames selected winger Morgan Klimchuk of the Regina Pats.

The Calgary, AB native posted 36 goals and 76 points in 70 games in the 2012-13 campaign.

The Flames also drafted Sean Monahan (6th overall) and Emile Poirier (22nd overall) in the first round.
