Calgary Flames select Adam Ollas Mattsson with 175th overall pick

PHILADELPHIA, PA -- With the 175th overall pick in the 2014 NHL Draft, the Calgary Flames selected Djurgården defenceman Adam Ollas Mattsson.

The 6-foot-4, 214-pound rearguard spent the bulk of the 2013-14 season with the Djurgården J20 team, scoring one goal and eight points in 33 games. He also skated in six games in the Allsvenskan league with Djurgården, recording two assists while posting a plus-three rating.

Ollas Mattsson played for Sweden at the 2013 IIHF World Under-18 Championship, registering one goal and three points in seven games. He also represented his country at the 2013 Ivan Hlinka Memorial Tournament. In four games at the tournament, he was a plus-four.
