FEATURE PROSPECT - J.D. Watt

Forward J.D. Watt is in his fourth year with the Vancouver Giants (WHL). He was drafted by Calgary in the 4th round (111th overall) in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft. He is currently fifth in scoring on with the Vancouver Giants with 30 goals and 16 assists for 46 points in 64 games played with 172 penalty minutes. Watt had a goal and two assists in four games this week, including a game winning goal. The Vancouver Giants are hosts of the 2007 Mastercard Memorial Cup, which will be Watt’s second appearance in the CHL Championships after the Giants claimed the 2006 WHL title.
