Blades defeat Hitmen 3-2

SASKATOON - Chris Langkow scored the winning goal and the Saskatoon Blades held on for a 3-2 win over the Calgary Hitmen in Western Hockey League action Wednesday.

Stefan Elliott and Jyri Niemi also scored for the Blades (12-5-1-0). Brett Sonne and Kyle Bortis replied for the Hitmen (13-4-1-0).

Braden Holtby made 22 saves fore the Blades, while Martin Jones stopped 29 shots for the Hitmen.
