The good news is Calgary Flames winger Todd Bertuzzi went through his first full practice with the team in two weeks on Tuesday.
The bad news is that Bertuzzi is still in a wait and see pattern with his hip flexor. He has missed the last five games with the injury and wasn't abut to declare himself ready to play the Coumbus Blue Jackets at the Pengrowth Saddledome on Wednesday.
"It felt okay," said Bertuzzi of the injury, "It's nice to get back out there. It felt decent. I have to see how it feels (Wednesday). We have to be careful. These things can linger."
Bertuzzi said the injury is not his back, which has sidelined him in the past. "It's something I have never had before. It really depends on how it reacts."
Bertuzzi was on a bit of a roll when he suffered the injury with five points in the three games prior to being sidelined. In 40 games this season Bertuzzi has 11 goals and 20 assists.
