When the 2020-21 regular season was winding down, the Flames were without two key pieces in their lineup.
On defence, Noah Hanifin was absent after suffering an upper body injury in a game against Montreal in April. The malady required season-ending shoulder surgery, ending the blueliner's season at 47 games.
Up front, it was Sean Monahan knocked out of action and requiring hip surgery. He played in 50 games last season, scoring 10 goals and 28 points.
Now, after a lengthy recovery period, the pair are primed and ready for training camp.
AHEAD OF SCHEDULE
Both Noah Hanifin and Sean Monahan are expected to be full participants in training camp
