VANCOUVER, BC -- Calgary Flames prospect Kenny Agostino came up big for the Yale Bulldogs in their postseason match-up against Harvard.
Agostino set up Yale's game-winner in Game 1 on Friday, picking up the primary assist on Jesse Root's game-winning tally. Yale went on to win 4-0 that night.
On Saturday, he scored the game-winner at 11:09 of the third period. The power play marker, which was assisted on by Root and John Hayden, ended Harvard's season and pushes Yale into the ECAC quarter-finals.
The forward is second in team scoring this season with 14 goals and 30 points in 31 games.
Agostino was acquired by the Flames in the Jarome Iginla trade with the Pittsburgh Penguins. He and Yale captured the NCAA Championship last year. However, the team is much young this season with Agostino as one of only three seniors on the roster. There are seven juniors, eight sophomores and eight newcomers.
