The Calgary Hitmen could see five of their players selected at the 2018 NHL Draft, taking place June 22-23 in Dallas.
Forwards Carson Focht, Tristen Nielsen and Riley Stotts as well as defencemen Vladislav Yeryomenko and Egor Zamula are eligible this year and all have landed on the NHL Central Scouting's rankings at least once this season.

Carson Focht - Centre
The Regina native is a strong skater, playing the game at a high pace and providing plenty of energy when on the forecheck. After being acquired by the Hitmen in a trade, the pivot was able to showcase his offensive abilities. Playing in a top-six role, he registered 17 points in 32 games in Calgary.

Tristen Nielsen - Centre
Nielsen has acted as a sparkplug for the Hitmen, playing with a ton of energy every shift. Despite standing just 5-foot-8, he has a strong centre of balance and is a bulldog on the puck. He plays bigger than his size and is more than willing to engage in physical play. He also has an impressive set of hands, scoring 19 goals in 2017-18.

Riley Stotts - Left Wing
After a slow start in Swift Current, Stotts was dealt to the Hitmen and exploded offensively. The winger put up 41 points in 47 games with the Hitmen, scoring 17 goals and 24 assists in Calgary. The Winnipeg product has great hockey sense and can act as a finisher or a playmaker.

Vladislav Yeryomenko - Defence
In his second year of eligibility, the blueliner earned plenty of looks from scouts thanks improved play in the offensive and defensive zones. In his own end, he's positionally sound and can move the puck out of his zone efficiently. Offensively, he more than doubled his 2016-17 totals, scoring 13 goals and 41 points last year.

Egor Zamula - Defence
Playing with a ton poise, the Russian blueliner came into his own in Calgary. He's a strong skater, has excellent positioning and has solid offensive upside. While he needs to gain far more strength, he has a 6-foot-3 frame to fill in as he develops.
