For season ticket members and game day buyers:
We are grateful for your understanding and patience. We understand that fans are concerned and want answers. Much of what we are facing is uncharted territory for all of us. We will communicate regularly with our fans to keep them informed as details are available.
Have games been cancelled?
The season has been paused and currently no games have been cancelled. Tickets for any postponed games will be valid for the rescheduled date.
Season Ticket Refunds
For season ticket members, payments will remain on account and will be applied to the rescheduled games. Should a game not be rescheduled at a later date, season ticket holders will receive a credit to their account. Additional information regarding this will be communicated when details regarding games are made available.
Will the payment deadlines be pushed back for renewals and playoffs?
We are grateful for your understanding and patience. At this time we will delay the renewal deadline and the payment deadline for 30 days until April 23. We will continue to communicate regularly with our Season Ticket Members and communicate prior to any payments being processed.
Can I get a refund on my game day tickets?
Currently hockey games have been suspended and tickets will be honored at future games or refunded if games are cancelled. Once additional information pertaining to future games is available, game day ticket buyers will be contacted with their options. Should game day buyers want a refund immediately, refunds are available through your point of purchase.
I won't be able to make a rescheduled game, I would like a refund?
The NHL has postponed their games until further notice and the rescheduled date for this game is currently pending. Tickets held for any postponed game will be valid for the rescheduled date, once determined. Refunds may also be obtained through point of purchase.
Season Ticket Members and Ticket Package holders will have any credits for cancelled games applied to their account. Additional information regarding this will be communicated as game and schedule issues are finalized.
How will resale tickets be handled?
All tickets purchased through a resale site (e.g. Ticketmaster Exchange, NHL Ticket Exchange, Vivid Seats, StubHub etc.) will be subject to the refund policy of that ticket marketplace. Please contact the customer service departments of the appropriate marketplace for more information.
When games are rescheduled, will people that have the tickets transferred to them be the recipient of the make-up game tickets or will the tickets go back to the Season Ticket Member?
Once a ticket is transferred it belongs to the recipient. That ticket will be valid for the rescheduled game.
How long will the season remain paused?
It is currently unknown how long the season will be paused but games will resume as soon as it is appropriate and prudent to do so.
Will the Lanny McDonald bobblehead giveaway be rescheduled?
The Lanny McDonald bobblehead night will be rescheduled once an updated schedule has been released by the NHL. Details will be communicated at the appropriate time.
SALES - GROUP AND PREMIUM FAQ
Can I get a refund on my group tickets?
The NHL has postponed their games until further notice and the rescheduled date for your game is currently unknown. Tickets for any postponed games will be valid for the rescheduled date, once determined. Refunds may also be obtained through point of purchase.
Can I get a refund on my premium experience?
The season has been temporarily paused and we hope games will be rescheduled. Your premium experience will be rescheduled once an updated schedule is confirmed.
In the event that games are cancelled, will I be incented to keep my money with CSEC?
When future games are scheduled, you will be notified of any options at that time.
What if my company creates a policy for employees and going to events?
When the regular season schedule is safe to resume we will receive direction and guidance from Alberta Health Services and the NHL regarding live sporting events. CSEC will take all the necessary precautions to ensure the health and safety of our fans.
If I can't make the rescheduled event can I get a refund?
The NHL has postponed their games until further notice and the rescheduled date for this game is currently pending. Tickets held for any postponed game will be valid for the rescheduled date, once determined. If games are cancelled, we will contact ticket buyers with refund options.
How will season work when resumed, including playoffs?
When it is safe and prudent to resume the season, we will do so. The timing of re-scheduled games and the playoff format have not been determined. We have the same hope for our WHL and NLL seasons.
My premium experience included access to the event level, will I receive the same experience when games resume?
Any and all precautions necessary to ensure the health, safety, and well-being of our fans, players, and staff will be taken when we return to play. Additional information on event level access will be provided to you at that time.
How are Scotiabank Saddledome concerts impacted?
If a concert date is impacted by the COVID-19 situation, communication will be sent to ticket holders through regular channels.
We can confirm that the April 5th JoJo Siwa concert, the April 19th James Taylor concert, and the May 5th Rage Against the Machine concert all at the Scotiabank Saddledome have been postponed to a later date due to the COVID-19 outbreak. An update on the new date will be sent to ticket holders once confirmed.
When will decisions on future events be made?
We are monitoring the situation daily and are in consistent communication with the NHL. We will provide regular updates to our ticketholders and fans as they are confirmed.
