Flames assistant coach Dave Lowry will be scrutinizing Calgary prospects next week but he'll also be keeping an eye on a Winnipeg Jets youngster - his son, Adam Lowry. At 6-foot-4 and 186 lbs, Lowry is hulking presence on the ice. Like his dad did, he uses his size to create havoc in front of the net. He sets up shop in front of the goalie and looks for deflections or rebounds. By utilizing this tactic, he has seen his offensive totals increase each year. Lowry netted 18 goals last season and ended his season with 45 points to his name. Many expect his skating will be below par thanks to his frame but that isn't the case. He has been able to keep up with Cody Eakin and Killian Hutt, two speedy players for the Broncos, and didn't look the slightest out of place when playing with them.
