Gina Galasso is in her sixth season with the Ducks after joining the organization in October 2013. Galasso oversees the human resources department for both the team and the arena staff. She brings both Human Resources and Financial Management professional experience working with dynamic organizations, developing and leading global people practices.
Over the years, Galasso has led large human resource departments implementing strategic talent management solutions. She served on the Disneyland Resort Expansion Team and successfully delivered the human capital required to support two theme parks, three hotels and the ESPN Zone. Galasso also led the Human Resources and Administration Departments for the Los Angeles Dodgers during both private and public ownership. She held leadership roles at SCE including responsibility for Recruitment, Equal Opportunity and Workforce Diversity and across the Edison International enterprise. In 2009, Galasso launched Mirelle Management Resources, Inc., a successful boutique human resources and financial management consulting firm.
Galasso received her Master's in Business Administration (MBA) in Leadership from Claremont Graduate University and Bachelor of Science (BS) in Accounting from the University of Southern California. Gina is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the State of California. She received a Certificate in Human Resources Management from University of California Los Angeles Extension.
In addition, Gina also serves as an Adjunct Professor for local universities including Concordia University Irvine teaching Human Resources Strategies and Applications in the Business Administration and Leadership Program and California State Fullerton teaching, Training & Development in their Human Communications Department.
Galasso enjoys the arts and travel. She spends her free time as a soccer mom and serves as the Sports Day Chair at her son's school. She and her husband, Carlos, reside in the San Gabriel Valley with their son, Giancarlo.
