5. February 17, 2008 vs. Calgary
In a 4-2 victory over Calgary, both Teemu Selanne and J.S. Giguere etch their names atop career lists in Anaheim's record book.

With an assist on a Ryan Carter first period goal, Selanne earns his 670th point in a Ducks uniform, which passes Paul Kariya (669) for a new club career record. Stopping 23-of-25 shots fired by the Flames, Giguere wins his 174th career game with the Ducks to pass Guy Hebert (173) for another club career record.

The Ducks would go on to win five straight and 20 of their final 26 games with Selanne back in the fold.

It's Teemu Time Once Again

Spurning retirement, Scott Niedermayer returns to the Ducks lineup 11 days after making his long-awaited decision.

While the Ducks would fall to San Jose (2-1 in a shootout) in his first game back, Niedermayer's return is a turning point in the season. In 34 games without the dynamic defenseman, the Ducks held a 15-15-4 record. With him back, the team finishes the year with a 32-12-4 mark (best in the NHL over that span).
