THE RINKS Teams Capture AIHL Titles in Florida

Two teams playing out of facilities in THE RINKS program took home titles in the AIHL Men's National Championships over the weekend at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando, Florida.

The AIHL (American Inline Hockey League) is recognized as the highest level of competitive inline hockey in the United States and is divided into two divisions: Elite and Minor. Reebok HB, which plays our ot THE RINKS - Huntington Beach Inline, captured the Champions Cup in the Elite division, while the Corona Reebok Jr. Ducks, who play out of THE RINKS - Corona Inline, won the title in the Minor division.

Reebok HB came back from a one-goal deficit with two quick power play goals in the second period on their way to a 5-2 victory over the Long Island 495ers in the Elite title game. (The game was aired live online on ESPN3.)

The Corona Reebok Jr. Ducks won the title in the Minor division in overtime.
In the Minor division championship, Trevor Neilson scored seven minutes into overtime to give the Corona Reebok Jr. Ducks a 7-6 triumph.

THE RINKS program consists of four local skating facilities owned by the Anaheim Ducks -- two ice rinks and two inline facilities.
